GENERAL SERVICE

The prestige of EL PAIS is largely based on the extensive network of permanent correspondents, regular contributors and special correspondents (over sixty), that this daily has around the world, giving a different view on issues normally offered by the different news agencies.

These reports, features and articles are available in our General Service  is uploaded from Monday to Friday around 7 pm (GMT).  Content - around fifty different pieces- is obtained from the different sections of EL PAIS, with special attention to Latin American events.

Apart from daily events, the General Service includes a series of  weekly supplements:  On Mondays the Sports Supplement, with the most relevant sports news  and events of the weekend; on Tuesdays, the ' Magazine' Supplement,  includes analysis and in depth reports from our Sunday supplement Domingo; on Wednesdays the Science and Technology Supplement, with news and information from  Futuro, our science section; the Health Supplement, is delivered on Thursdays; and finally the Culture Supplement every Friday.

The service is delivered updated twice daily. The first package , at 3 pm GMT, with news arriving at the newsroom throughout the morning, as well as the above-mentioned supplements.  The second delivery, -around 7 pm GMT-, will have stories and news to be published in EL PAIS on the following day.
